A BIT ABOUT ME:
Art has been a part of my life from an early age, but the adventurous spirit in me craved more - I wanted to travel the world, I wanted to make a positive difference, and I needed purpose.
Growing up with Swedish and British parents in a beautiful yet conflict-ridden part of Central Africa helped shape my perspective. And so, to gain experience that would be useful internationally, I enjoyed a short career as a dental surgeon in Sydney while also serving as a part-time soldier. Then after 12 years with the British Special Forces, I went on to establish and lead an international crisis management group focused on recovering kidnapped and incarcerated victims - usually when all other options had failed.
Throughout the journey so far, my creativity has been fuelled by the sights around me and the complexity of human nature - a theme that underpins my photographic studies here.
